New Salem is an Internet community featuring selected businesses which are of interest to our citizens and visitors. The anchor business in New Salem is the Salem House, an interactive marketplace featuring folk art, elegant home accents and unique products.

New Salem was founded in Cyberworld on June 16, 1996, with a few fine charter residents. It will grow rapidly as new residents and capabilities are added.
